Prof. (Dr.) George Joseph
MA., DIRPM., LL.M., Ph.D
Dr.George Joseph specialises in Constitutional & Administrative Law and Procedural Laws. He has received his M.A. (Economics), LLM (Constitutional & Administrative Law) and Ph.D. in Law for his work on Challenges to federal model of government and its underlying constitutional philosophy-A juristic critique in the background of recent developments from Nagpur University. He also holds PGDIRPM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personal Management) from Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication and Management, Bombay. He practices clinical methodology of teaching and his subjects of interest are that of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Procedural Laws and Alternative Disputes Resolutions.
He has guided more than 200 LL.M Dissertations and produced nine Ph.Ds, adjudicated 37 Ph.D Thesis and acted as Chairman in five Board of Ph.D viva voce examinations of National Law Universities . He has worked as Researcher of the Project - Access to justice by the poor and the disadvantaged people by the Department of Justice, Government of India and UNDP. He has participated several National and International Seminars, several Regional ,National Symposia & Workshops and published number of research articles in various law journals. He has acted as the Chief Editor of the Journal of Indian Legal Thought of Mahatma Gandhi University and presently the Chief Editor of The CSI Law Journal. His recent publications includes - Constitutional and Judicial Perspective of Freedom of Mass Media in India; Emergence of Narco Analysis as a Scientific Technique of Criminal Investigation; National and International Dimensions of Cyber Crimes: an Overview (CSI Law Journal Vol I (2018), p.175-213; Vol II (2019), p.85-135; Vol IV (2021), p.159-171). He has received Scroll of Honors from International Council of Jurists, London in 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2014; Gandhiyan Sevana Puraskaram in 2015 from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial National Centre for Education & Research, Thiruvananthapuram, Best Law Teacher Award in 2010 from VK Krishnanmenon Memorial Trust, Thiruvanathapuram, Sevana Retna Purskaram in 2011 from Nethaji Memorial Trust, Thiruvanathapuram . He has co-ordinated the CLEA Mooting(India Round) Competetion 2019 and organized four National Human Rights Moot Court Competitions; more than 120 Legal Aid an Legal Literacy Camps in association with local self government bodies in different Gram Panchayats in Kerala. He has acted as Judge in several National and International Moot Court Competitions organized by several universities in India and the Chief Programme Co-ordinator of the Legal Literacy Club of the School under the guidance of National Legal Services Authority , New Delhi. He is a life member of the South Asian Forum for Clinical Law Teachers, Goa; Indian Academy of Social Sciences, Allahabad; Indian Society of Criminology, Chennai; International Council of Jurists, London. Dr. George Joseph retired as Chairman, Board of Studies in Law (UG&PG), Director, School of Indian Legal Thought & Dean, Faculty of Law, Mahatma Gandhi University with 34 years of teaching experience to his credit and joined as Principal, CSI College for Legal Studies on 01.06.2017.

Mr.Koshy Abraham pursued his B.Com from the University of Kerala and completed computer programming course from LBSERC Trivandrum. He started his carrier as Officer-Systems at Automotive Axles, Mysore, and retired as IT Head from MRF-Funskool (India) Ltd., Chennai. Vice Principal
Dr.Jaisy T.
Dr.Jaisy T. is the Vice Principal of the CSI College for Legal Studies, Kanakkary, Kottayam. Her area of specialization is Intellectual property rights Law. Before being appointed as a faculty in the CSI College for legal studies in 2017, she worked as an Asst. professor in Business Laws at the NSS College, Pandalam, and Guest faculty in Media laws at St. Joseph College of Communication, Media Village, Changanasserry.
Her academic qualifications include Ph.D. in Law, M.A (Journalism and Mass Communication), LL.M (Intellectual Property Rights), B.Ed (Natural science), and Second Rank holder in LL.B from Mahathma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
She has authored books and published several articles in journals and books. She has been an invited Speaker/Resource Person in several seminars/workshops in India and abroad. She is a distinguished member of the International Council of Jurists, London.

Prof. (Dr.) M.M. Mathew M.A.,Ph.D.
Prof.(Dr.) M.M. Mathew, graduated from St. Philomena's College, Mysore University with a Gold Medal and took his post-graduate degree from St. Thomas College, Palai, Kerala University with a University Rank. He completed his studies with National Merit Scholarship. As a teacher he started his career at Christ College, Irinjalakuda, Calicut University. He then taught in Mar Thoma College, Thiruvalla, Mahatma Gandhi University and currently he is Professor in Political Science, CSI College for Legal Studies, Kottayam. His brilliant teaching career has spanned over forty years. He is the winner Travancore Best Teacher Manavikam Award 2007.
As a Research Guide he has supervised many students to get their Ph.D Degree.He was elected to the National Executive of the Indian Political Science Association (IPSA) twice on the basis of his contributions to Political Science. He is also a life member of the Indian Association for American Studies (IAAS) and the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA). He has published about ten books and a large number of research papers and newspaper articles. As a leading political scientist he became the President of the Kerala Political Science Association. He is also the Director of Dr. M.V. Pylee Forum for Higher Education. He has organized a large number of conferences and symposiums in the field of higher education.

She had secured First Rank in LL.M. She has been awarded Sarada Krishna Iyer Prize. She has also practiced Law at District court. She started her Academic career as Faculty of Law at K.L.E Law College , Bangalore. Presently she is Assistant Professor at CSI College for Legal Studies, since 2014. Mrs. Jaimol Thomas has pursued BAL.,LL.B. from Government Law College, Thrissur affiliated to University of Calicut and LLM from School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT) with Dual Core Specialization in Commercial Law and Consumer Law. She joined CSI College for Legal Studies, Kanakkary as Assistant Professor in 2016 after having 6 years practice before District Court, Kollam. Ms.Aswani K Sunil has pursued her Bachelors in law from Sree Narayana Guru College of Legal Studies, Kollam and has completed her Masters in Law with Third Rank from Department of Law , Central University of Kerala. Neethu Reghukumar had persued her Bachelors in Law from School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University with third position in the year 2013 and Masters in Law from School of Legal Studies, Cochin university of Science and Technology with specialization in Maritime Law and Intellectual Property Rights with fifth position in the year 2016. Mr. Boney J. Kuriakose has completed his M.A. in Economics from St.Thomas College Palai, Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam,Kerala. He has pursued M.Phil. with First Rank from the Department of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Center for Economic Studies, University of Madras, Chennai with specialization in Development Economics. His teaching career started at St.George's College Aruvithura, Kottayam as the Head Of the Department of M.A. Economics ( Unaided Stream from 2012 to 2018 ). He is an Academic Counselor at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU Centre at CMS College Kottayam) and a visiting faculty at Career Dreams College (Civil Service Academy) Pala. Ms.Aswathy A K has pursued her Masters Degree in Political science with first rank from MG university Kottayam. She has completed her second Masters Degree in English from IGNOU.
