Introducing CSI College for Legal Studies (CSICLS).

CSI College for Legal Studies is owned and managed by the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese, a widely recognized educational agency in Kerala. The diocese manages 149 educational institutions including 7 colleges. The Madhya Kerala Diocese has over 400 congregations in Kerala and 25 congregations outside India with an equal number of congregations in other states in India. Diocese is the heir of a rich legacy in education coming down as it doses from the days of the Christ an Missionaries of the Church Missionary Society (CMS). The Missionaries opened the doors of liberal English education in Kerala.

CSI College for Legal Studies, Kanakkary, Kottayam (CSICLS) is a self- financing law college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by the Bar Council of India.The courses offered in CSICLS are Integrated 5 year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com., LL.B (Hons.), 3 year Unitary LL.B. and LL.M (Commercial Law) programmes. B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com.LL.B (Hons.) programmes require a study for ten semesters in a period of five academic years. Unitary LL.B. programme require a study for six semesters in a period of three academic years. LL.M programme requires a study for four semesters in a period of two academic years. The medium of instruction and examination is English.

The eco-friendly campus of CSICLS is located at Kanakkary beside the Ettumanoor –Ernakulam State High Way.
